We invite you, your teammates, friends, and fellow race fans to participate in the THIRTY-SIXTH Annual Indoor Running Water Spittoon Boat Races & Regatta - THE ONLY RACE OF ITS KIND IN THE WORLD!
This high-class nautical spectacle takes place at the historic 137-year-old Brick Saloon in Roslyn, WA on Saturday March 14th, featuring our legendary 23-foot running-water spittoon racecourse.
Schedule
- The Brick opens: 10am
- Weigh-in & registration: 10am – 11:45
- Racing begins promptly at 12pm (Noon)
After the races, dust off your dancing shoes and join us for The Brick Nautical Ball at 9pm, featuring live music by The Hipsters. You won’t want to miss this one!!
Classes and Specifications
- Soap/Wax - boats cannot weigh more than 1 oz
- Wood - boats cannot weigh more than 1 oz
- Paper/Plastic – boats cannot weigh more than 1 oz
- Motor & Experimental (Open Class) - boats cannot weigh more than 1 1/2 oz
Boat Rules:
- Boats may be waterproof
- Maximum dimensions 3” long, 1 1/2” wide, and 3” tall.
- No mechanical or other means or propulsion allowed, except in the Experimental (Open) class
Additional Rules
- There is a $5 entry fee per boat
- There is a Maximum of 3 boats allowed per person, per class
- All classes run single elimination until the final 4
- Final 4 boats compete in double elimination
- YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
